awareness to action
Measure your day. Learn what affects you.
Sleep, medications, food, movement and mood - in one place, recorded in seconds: five taps or one spoken sentence. Over time you see what helps and what hurts.
Free. No ads. A research project.
Easy. On purpose.
A journal only works when it is effortless. That is why recording in a2a takes seconds - and the more data points you gather, the clearer the connections between your daily life and how you feel become.
20 sec
for a check-in on the five scales
1 sentence
by voice or text becomes several records
1 tap
marks the day's medications
How it works
Three habits, under a minute a day.
Note how you feel
Five scales - mood, energy, tension, thoughts, irritability. 20 seconds, a few times a day.
Tell it freely
Voice or text: "got up at 9:30, worked out, took my meds". AI turns words into structured records - and corrects them when you do.
See the connections
Charts over time: how sleep, movement, caffeine or a new therapy reflect on your mood and productivity.
What you track
A few things that say a lot.
Sleep is one morning note, medications one tap, and grams and calories are estimated by the assistant. The goal: recording so easy it actually happens every day.
Why we build this
a2a began as a tool for a loved one with bipolar disorder - to understand, together with his doctors, which parts of daily life help and which do not.
We develop it openly and free of charge - a research project in support of people with mental illness, and of anyone who wants to understand how daily life shapes their mood and productivity.
a2a is not a medical device and does not replace a doctor or therapist.
